Description
This fork seal ring set is not made of nitrite rubber (NBR) like most fork seals, but is made of a specially developed material (carboxylic elastomer XNBR).
This material was developed to meet the special requirements of a modern motorcycle fork. This material has excellent properties in terms of abrasion and temperature resistance as well as resistance to oils and additives.
Lower wear with optimal sealing properties ensures a very long service life with consistently good sealing quality.

Replacing the fork seals on an Aprilia SR-50 LC Street
New fork oil seals for Aprilia SR-50 as they are delivered after ordering.
The new fork oil seals must be pressed into the dip tube.
To protect the fork oil seals during pressing, an aluminum piece is placed between the press and the sealing ring.
When pressing the fork oil seals, feeling is required. The sealing rings must fit cleanly against the stop.
After pressing the fork oil seals, check whether they are sitting straight.
The sealing rings are secured with a snap ring and protected by the dust caps.
The telescopic fork is reinstalled on the Aprilia SR-50, the new fork seals are in place.
